Vintage glass

A camellia in a vintage glass that belonged to my Gran. I love the pale pink paint on this glass. I don't know much about glasses like this, but maybe someone can tell me about it? I think it is the finest glass I own, I'm almost afraid to use it!

I haven't participated in Vintage-Thingie Thursday for so long, it's good to be back!

I don't know anything other than that is one pretty glass. How special you have it and that it belonged to your grandma. Lovely post and pictures. Have a great VTT.

The pink figure looks like a relief--is it?

I've seen a lot of vintage glasses, but nothing like that - it must be hand-painted. Beautiful!

I love the silhouette on your glass. Since its sides are tapered inward, I don't think it was ever a jelly/jam glass, which would have been my first guess.

Lovely glass and nice that it was your grandmother's. I noticed you said you are into Stampin' Up, well, I have a few sets that are retired. I love their stuff.

What lovely glassware. I love the pink. Have not seen many that shade of pink. Keep up the good work.

Something about arranging flowers in something besides a vase; I love its simplicity! I am very fond of things with sentimental value. If it weren't your grandmother's, I would ask if it's for sale. It's gorgeous! Stop by and see my table setting, if you like what you see, be sure to subscribe to my blog by clicking on "Follow" in the right hand column. This way we can inspire one another frequently! Be sure to stay a while when you're there and enjoy the experience!
